Eastern Shore Region
Certified Ecotour Guides can provide unforgettable Seaside experiences filled with knowledge and passion. Their dedicated efforts to teach visitors about the unique natural resources of this area help build a stronger and more informed community of Seaside Stewards. The Virginia Ecotour Guide Certification Program provides guides with training in wildlife and habitat protection, customer service, interpretation and planning – hiring a certified tour guide will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience on our Seaside. The program is sponsored by the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program, and is supported by the Rural Coastal Virginia Alliance’s partners with the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula and Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commissions.
